  • A Vegetarian Food Log

    OK... since AOW started a log, I figured I might as well do as too. Plus, it might be interesting for you guys to see how I hit my calories and macros.

    I usually don't bother too much about 5-6 meals a day or whatever. But I keep it clean and hit my calorie and marco goals.

    Goals:
    Calories: 2000
    Macros: 40/40/20 P/C/F


    So, here goes:

    Monday 6/14/10

    5am: 1 cup black coffee, 1/2 cup oatmeal

    8am: 2 scoops protein shake

    11am: PB&J sandwich - 2 slices 100% whole wheat bread, 1 tbsp natural PB, 1 tbsp SF jelly.

    1:30pm: 1/2 cup brown rice, 1/2 cup veggies, 1 cup boiled black eyed peas, 1/2 tbsp flaxseed oil

    3pm: Workout

    4:30pm: 1/2 cup brown rice, 1/2 cup veggies

    5:15pm: 1 cup cottage cheese

    6:30pm: 2 scoops protein shake, 1 oz almonds

    8:30pm: 1.5 cups cottage cheese, 1 cup veggies, 1/2 tbsp flaxseed oil

    10pm: Bed


    Total for the Day:
    1950 Kcal
    43g F
    194g C
    205g P

            I am a lacto-vegetarian. Milk products are ok. While I don't drink milk, I eat a lot of cottage cheese.

              Noon: 1/2 cup brown rice, 1/2 cup veggies, 0.5 cup kidney beans, 1/2 tbsp flaxseed oil

              2:30pm: 1 cup cottage cheese with tabasco sauce

              5pm: 1/2 cup brown rice, 1/2 cup veggies, 0.5 cup kidney beans, 1/2 tbsp flaxseed oil

              6:30pm: 2 scoops protein shake, 1 oz almonds

              8:30pm: 0.25 cup brown rice, 1.5 cups cottage cheese, 1 cup veggies

              10pm: Bed

              1920 Kcal
