yea, everyone responds differently.Originally posted by Tizz View PostI guess everyone's body is a little different. For me, personally the only way I can lost fat is to cut my carbs and up my fat intake. I literally drink olive oil when I'm dieting. And... completely understand about the site linking. My apologies
i get bloated and my muscles get flat and soft on a high protein/fat diet.

You can do it on gear if protein/fats are really high, but it doesn't make sense because you're body is just converting those macros to glucose and using that as energy. It's an in-effecient process and besides, carbs are cheaper and fiber is good for you. I'm old-school, I eat ALOT of carbs when I bulk (and they're not all good carbs either).:thumup:Originally posted by jack tors View Posti have to agree with bouncer. i think its a big mistake to think your going to build muscle on low carb diet. everyones diff. i guess

I tried low-carb/keto diet and due to many years of lowfat dieting I feared the fat increase needed to do it (good fats or not). I lost wt quickly (water wt) felt and looked more cut with more muscle def, but as soon as you start eating carbs again you gain wt and feel puffy and bloated losing muscle def. Also w/out carbs I felt much weaker and tired much quicker w/lifting and cardio so w/outs suffered. Good and bad!!:whistle

I had great success with a hybrid palumbo keto diet while on test. I used porridge morning, brown rice lunch and pwo malto then no carbs just fats and protien. Didn't work so well off test I have to say. Now I'm trying to use lil more carbs and little less fats but still cutting carbs down for last 2 meals
