  • Finally tried some Quiona this morning

I really like it. It's kind of bland by itself but you can make the flavor you want. Sweeten with splenda in the morning like you may with oatmeal or spice it up in the afternoon like you would with brown rice.

I made some for my son and put some Jelly in it and he really liked it.

Gonna have to go with the fag on this one, sounds like crap, you get tired of oatmeal or something ? I like the wheaties complex fuel stuff but it's got a ton of sugar, only use it if your bulking up. damn yummy tho for breakfast with a shake or some eggs what have you.

You can make a risotto using quinoa. Tastes great, much better than rice. Don't talk about stuff you know nothing about...:retard:

Yeah, it is a grain. You can cook it and it comes out a bit like rice, except with a bit more taste and a crunchier texture. Give it a try bro, you'll like it.

They have it at my local equivalent of Whole Foods - I think it is common enough that you might find it in regular supermarkets also, but definitely in ones with a more organic/natural foods selection.

I just saw it today at crazy bowls. I'm interested to try it- low gi, nutty taste, and has some protein in it. It's supposed to be the next "wonder food".

I love it. I make ground turkey and mix in quinoa, put some hot sauce or chipotle tabasco on it and it's really good. Has more protein that oats.
