    we all know the old saying meat and potatos. I have read a lot about sweet potatos or yams being a great source for complex carbs. I eat them right out of the can sometimes but what about regular potatos? I never eat them but was just wondering... why not regular potatos?

    Sweet potatoes are very good for you especially if you eat the skin (Vit A, beta carotene, potssium & vit C,. Has more fiber than Oats.

      i prefer oats for complex carbs. I think its superior to sweet potatoes.

          That's interesting jack tors. Didn't know the skin of sweet potato was that healthy. I always peeled them before eating them.

              cut sweet potatos in syrup but its more like water with a little sweet to it, I don't really know how to cook them so I just eatem outta the can? I eat weird shit like I ate a steak last night with a bowl of old fashioned oats. I eat a lot of brown rice and baked fish too

                  No shit? It says right on the side of the can "Cut sweet potatos in syrup" I usually just eat them and pour the juice out

                    Don't eat canned anything. They are either packed in syrup or have a shitload of salt added depending on what's canned. Either way, you are ingesting a lot of garbage along with the veggies. I would never eat anything canned - fresh is best, frozen ok , canned never.
