  • Need a quick easy healthy daily lunch for the office.

    Hey guys,

I own my own business and my dad comes to my office and helps me out every day.

I always make us lunch. I'm in the middle of trying to lean out and get some strength back.

I usually eat pretty clean but I'm thinking my lunch could use some improvement. It has to be quick, easy, and not break the bank so I like being able to throw it together.

Currently I'm just making turkey sandwhiches with multigrain wheat bread, Colby cheese, Mustard, lettuce tomato, I usually have a kosher spear, nuts or some fruit to go with it. My pop has chips most of the time.

I was thinking about subbing my bread for Ezkel bread or lo-carb protein wraps (I love those), subbing the cheese for lowfat swiss, cutting back on the nuts.

I'm sure that would help, but It would be nice to mix it up with something else too any suggestions?

Can't you just cook up some chicken breast and rice etc... The night before and bring in a cooler?

    Coldcut sandwiches are garbage bro..

guess im just being lazy. I like making the food from what i have at work but yeah. ,..... Should just make chicken rice and veggies on weeknights for lunch. We have a microwave there. I could probably make two days worth at a time and still have the veggies and rice turn out good.

I always cook some brown rice enough to last a couple days. I put everything from chicken breast to turkey, fish whatever. Heat in the microwave presto. I also save my gatorade bottles and mix up my protien shakes the night before and take'em with me. I pack a cooler full of shit around with me everywhere i go lol

I must be doing something wrong, every time I mix protein powder if I don't drink it right away it either separates if it's in a cup, and / or gets funky really quick.

are you putting it in the fridge? re-shaking it in the a.m. ?

Every time I make one in my blender ball after I'm done it feels like the bottle is going to explode like it's expanding in there or something, maybe it's the temp.

why do you need to premix it? I just keep a shaker cup in my office. Every day, I put 2 scoops of protein powder in a ziploc bag and take it to work. When I am ready, it takes 30 seconds to dump it into the cup, add water and shake. Don't see the point in doing it ahead of time.

I don't know man thats just how I do it works for me, what can i say??? Pre-mix it at night and the next day just give it a good shake and drink. I have taken my powders in a ziplock before either way is fine

are you eating the same thing every week day?? I wouldn't have a problem with that at all, I like easy.
