  • Holidays: To Diet or Not?

Amidst the holiday season, do you maintain your diet through the holidays or do you cheat? Especially over Thanksgiving, I found it difficult to "stay on track"... What methods do you use to overcome those holiday pounds?

1 day = no problem.... eat what you want.

Having enough leftovers to eat pie and ice cream every day for a week after holiday = problem.

Diet with a little cheat in moderation. I dieted and worked out arms Thanksgiving day, and the next day I ate a little more carbs. On Saturday i had 1 cheat meal.

With Christmas approaching, i will diet through, and probably have some sweets here and there, but definitely keeping up with workouts.

I can eat bad for a day and still feel fine to train.

Much more than that and I feel like shit, makes lifting a bitch and cardio almost impossible.

Plus after a day of cheat meals food doesn't even look good anymore.

Everybody has an eight pack. It's just that for most people, it is buried under an inch or two of blubber.

yea, eat bad for like 3 days in a row and there is something mentally that just fucks you up. its like you get comfortable and just feel like eating.

                  fuck that.

Ha, excellent point! So - instead of having enough leftovers - just eat everything the day of so there's no need to worry about leftovers? lol jk :D

Hey, I resemble that remark..

I pigged out like never before on T'giving... screw seconds, I had at least fifths or sixths.... had insane carb bloat for a couple of days but everything's good now and weight is the same as pre-T'giving, so no harm done.

You've gotta cheat a little bit during the holidays...

And if you're big into international cuisine, you almost have to cheat every now and then.

Holidays are the days free from any burden of the work.People would love to enjoy it to there maximum. While doing this they change there eating habit too. Many of the people skips there diet plan.I am also on dieting but i have committed myself and that's the best method in my eyes To commit yourself that "you are following the diet plan".
