  • Diet problems

Ok this is not my first rodeo so I am not stupid but this time my diet is going wrong. I am not gaining fat or anything I actually have abs at 252 but 1 hour after i eat i am hungry and i want junk. same diet as always
    1) morning shake. 50 g protien, 2/3 cup oats, banana, flax oil, natty PB in water
    2) 4 oz brown rice pasta 5 oz chicken breast
    3) PWO shake 50gs protien and waxy maze
    4) same as #2
    5) same as #2
    6) same as #2
    7) same as #2 or sometimes 7 egg whites 2 eggs

my problem is I want junk every damn meal and cheat probably 3 outta the 7 days. I am far from fat like i said i have abs (well out lines, lol) but I wanna be ripped at 250 and cheating 3 days a week is not gonna cut it.

any suggestions or thoughs to help? I have been using this same diet for a few years always worked before.

Rocket where are your vegetables? You need to add them with some olive oil or flaxseed oil sprinkled over them. Vegetables will keep you getting to that starvation mode and when you feel like eating junk have some romane lettuce or some cucumbers it'll do wonders

4oz of rice is nothing. You are big and lean, why would you eat like a 125lber? I eat a cup and a half of rice with each of my meals. Plus I add hot sauce or BBQ sauce to make the meal actually taste good.

But yea, up your girly 4oz of rice per meal and your cravings should go away.

Lmao, explain that for me beast.

Vegetables while they are healthy are not needed in any shape or form "to have that shredded look".

Ok up my carbs to 6oz then. Ya I did the A1 on my chicken but the bottle ran out,lol I need more but A-1 wont make me stop from wanting to eat 1 hour later.
I do think the extra carbs will. I was just scared to up the carbs since I am doing almost zero cardio

I have extra virgin oil mixed in my pasta. Very little though. I am trying the super low fats like B suggested awhile ago. I do eat veggies every now and then but never noticed any difference. I kinda agree with B there is no need for veggies as long as I am getting all my vits and minerals. ( I am )

Vegetables are beneficial for fat loss because they contain vitamins and minerals that you need for a healthy metabolism; they're also high in fiber.

Eating high fiber vegetables promotes feelings of fullness and helps to normalize blood sugar levels. This results in a dramatic reduction in the overall number of calories that you eat, a reduction in body fat storage, protection against diabetes onset, and the reduction or elimination of hormonally-triggered food cravings. Eating vegetables will help improve your digestion and leave you full and satisfied.

At the same time, vegetables improve your energy efficiency and overall energy levels by boosting energy usage inside of muscle cells, so you'll burn fat and have more energy naturally.

                  Muscle Building...

As much as we'd all like to believe that protein alone builds muscle, it just isn't true; vegetables play a vital role in muscle building.

Vegetables contain many vital vitamins and minerals; some of the most important are calcium, folate (folic acid), vitamin C, vitamin D, vitamin E and vitamin A, and more. Together, the vitamins and minerals in vegetables are critical for proper and efficient muscle contractions, red blood cell production, inflammation control, cortisol response mediation, oxidative stress response, cholesterol synthesis and more.
Unfortunately, taking a vitamin simply isn't enough: it's vital to get the majority of these critical vitamins and minerals from vegetables themselves. Doing so increases absorption and reduces the vitamin and mineral elimination.

If you are cheating like every other day and still have abs, upping your Carbs each meal and not cheating isn't going to make you fat.

Sorry but I don't agree. It is not clear that the bioavailability and uptake of vitamin pills come anywhere close to vitamins and minerals from natural sources. I would eats LOTS of vegetables and only use vitamin/mineral pills as supplementation. Plus, as Beast indicates, eating veggies will help with the problem you are bringing up - feeling hungry between meals. Have a bag of broccoli, celery, etc. and munch on it when you feel hungry. Chase it down with a glass of water and it will carry you until your next meal.

I get your point but that will be 5 meals a day every day of uping carbs.
I will give it a try though it cant hurt. I am so close to looking the best I ever have and once I figure that out its on.

Beast vitamins, minerals, and fiber are not something that is missing from most bodybuilders diet.

Vegetables themselves do nothing for fat loss or muscle building.

I am not saying they are not healthy, I am saying they are not needed for fat loss or muscle gain because vitamins, minerals, and fiber come from many other sources in most bodybuilders diet.
