  • Been eating a lot of onions

    Picked up a big ass bag of Vidalia onions at Costco and been putting it in all my chicken and steak dishes.

    Am I getting a health benefit out of them or just look at them as flavor?

    Supposed to be good for blood cholesterol and pressure, some imune benefits and fibre I guess, good shit imo

                The Vidalia onions are grown right in these parts..them's some good shit!....

                did ya get some of the sweet Vidalias? if not try um; freeking amazingly good!

                  I add onions to everything... I know the sweet onions have sugar but, not enough to really make a difference. I think a whole onion has like 6 grams of sugar. They are limited in south beach and atkins in the first phase. I don't see where they would impact a typical bodybuilding diet. At least that is what I am going with because adding them is about the only way I get 8 scrambled egg whites down.

                    Yea Carbs don't worry me, it's fat that is limited in my diet. I do not use any oil to cook down the onions.

                      I got jersey onions. Taste like home!! A hint of sun tan lotion, a dash of perfume, and a pinch of pepperoni. :D

                      Just like wine picks up the flavor of the region!

                        hi onions are really healthy for our health and sametimes it gives our cooking more taste .Onions are also a source of vitamin C, potassium, dietary fiber and folic acid. They also contain calcium, iron and have a high protein quality .
