So I'm a contracter I got to Afghanistan about 8 months ago I wheighed 210 was right under 20% bf now I wheigh 190-195 and 11-12 bf I seem to have hit a wall with muscle gain and loosing this last bit of fat. I work 12 hours a day 7 days a week and I only have acces to the dfac pizza hut and Popeyes chicken for cooked meals other then that I have a microwave. Any advice to finish loosing this fat and to keep a good diet going? Thanks in advance!

What kind of foods do you have access too. Is it only fast food?

Well the dfac is the military dinning facility. for breakfast we have basic breakfast stuff that reminds me of what I get when I go thru Mc D's so i usually stick to cereal or oatmeal and a apple or banana when we have some that dont look like crap. At 10 am we only have the sandwich line so turkey or tuna sandwich. and noon we have hot dogs hamburgers basic salad stuff then what ever they have available on the hot bar, for the past month thought it only seems to be pork ribs, hamburger helper, chicken wings, fried foods, and some other junk. We often get some decent fish or chicken breast which is great. Then at 4 pm again its the sandwich line so another turkey or tuna sandwich. Then dinner is the same as lunch. So on that crappy lunches and dinners I find my self with a very plain salad and some more tuna salad or something similar and I'm getting pretty burnt out on it.

Well I mean if it's all you have access to the only thing you can do is pick the best choices that you have. I would normally tell you to go to Costco and buy a bunch of chicken breasts etc but you don't have many options, kind of hard to adjust diet when you can't. Lol

This is true, was just hoping some one here has been thru this and came up with some alternatives or perhaps had some ideas on things that didn't really need to be cooked or prepared in the kitchen(I only have a microwave in my room).

We got a couple military guys here. They should be along later in the day to give you some ideas.

lol its hard as fuck to maintain and I'm starting to wonder if I'm even getting the right nutrients and enough calories in a day because sometimes I'm tired as crap and I haven't seen much muscle growth in awhile.

Its hard to keep eating right in that situation, just try to stick to the whole foods available. I would mail order in bulk protein powder to supplement your meals. I say in bulk cause you know how the mail can be screwed up over there. So get several months worth, then about 2 months out....reorder. Thats your best bet IMHO. There are lots of carbs in the dfac always has been for the energy//you need the protein source to supplement.

Deployment dfac is a lot different than stateside too. US garrison chow was always limitless whole food protein and complex carbs 3x a day. Deployment and mobile mess was always more limited and lower quality protein sources.

Like you said, I always ordered protein and supps in bulk to make up for the deficit.
