Nothing to do with a trick or eating them dry. It's putting them in the refrigerator the night before, with other cold ingredients, and eating them cold.Originally posted by dago

FB - Do you think it is possible that you are allergic to gluten? Based on some of the problems you mentioned in other threads like trouble sleeping, etc... could be gluten. I was and never knew it. Got some tests done and sure enough me and my sister were both allergic to gluten and it was fucking us up.

Hey, juiced what symptoms were you having?
Both my grandfather and sister are allergic to gluten. In a couple weeks I'm getting tested too. I seem to always feel bloated. But I don't eat much gluten. On the weekends would be the only time I eat it. But it's recommended to get tested if it runs in the family.

Weird you bring that up. I was allergic as an infant. No dairy, wheat, the whole 9. Somehow I "grew out" of it. About a year ago I seemed to be having a lot of issues when my mom reminded me that I could easily be affected again. When I mentioned it to my doctor, he acted like he didn't believe I had Celiac Disease as a child. He says he tested me to see if I had it again, but I swear I never believed him. What kind of tests did you have done? And what kind of symptoms were you having?

Hey man, my symptoms were being foggy headed, trouble concentrating, irritable, and insomnia. Couldn't sleep for shit. Also some mild constipation. But I had no bloating and no stomach issues. I just felt bad in general all of the time and it was from the gluten. 1 beer used to make me feel AWFUL. And most beer is made with the same type of wheat that contains gluten.Originally posted by Chadd77 View PostHey, juiced what symptoms were you having?

I just have a feeling you might be allergic to it. And based on some of the things you mention you eat, it sounds like you get quite a bit of gluten in your diet. The only way to test is with a blood test and a stool sample. They can also do a saliva test to see if you have the gene that they targeted for gluten sensitivity. If your doctor doesn't test in that way then he doesn't know what the hell he's talking about.Originally posted by FitnessBrat View PostWeird you bring that up. I was allergic as an infant. When I was a kid I was allergic to milk and dairy, and I too "grew out of it" but you don't really grow out of it when you constantly feel like shit. You just deal with it better when you are an adult.

I was getting blood for everything under the sun, so that's when he supposedly did it. Definitely never did anything else, though. I'll see if I can get something done on my own.
