you would not be living downtown LA. LA is more a sprawling suburb then it is anything else. the downtown area makes up a small portion of LA. you would never even see the bad parts.

take chicago for example. you hear about all these killings and in the media its just reported as "chicago". they never tell you though that 99.9% of all the killings come from the poor shitty south side.

anyone that heres that story might think they are talking about downtown chicago. its not the case, you could walk downtown chicago at 3 am and be perfectly safe.

I don't know those with faith in God, I think good people do good things no matter what faith or if they're agnostic.

I was talking with a friend of mine, an American and a one time world record powerlifter and IFBB Pro, we we're talking about family stuff and I mentioned about my nephew who is essentially cripple, just had an operation that could/might save his leg. My friend jumped right in and said " we have prayer group today, we're gonna get round a table and pray for him and lift him up through prayer"!

What a good guy! just straight off offers his thoughts and prayers like that. Some people are too in your face about it but good people are often religious people, not that they have to be one to be the other.

So the notion that America has alot of religeous types is no bad thing as far as I'm concerned. Every time I been to America I've really enjoyed it as a holiday. Joking aside I think its a great country.

There are issues of peoples rights and a huge disparity in terms of income between different elements of society, which we also have here but not on such and epic scale of poverty as in America, and its as if those people are forgotten about over there and just don't integrate. I actually think there is probably large sections of American society that don't see beyond their own social and working groups, less so in the UK, possibly on account of size.

But I don't ever trully think badly of american people, some of the best people on earth and I really like you guys on here who are predominantly american.

Facts are I come on here and say what the fuck I like and rarely do I experience and Xenophobia, if I do I just attack it and blow through it and you don't object because you know deep down I respect others, one of your true shining characteristics, you can read people.
