  • Late night snacks-post up

Past two weeks I've been having an avocado and a Roma tomato both sliced. Adding sea salt and fresh grounded pepper downed with my pineapple/orange juice soy smoothie. Made with real pineapple and squeezed OJ. Then I add some vanilla soy milk and some ice cubes. Don't care to add soy protein since I'm getting some from the drink. But thought I would post for those late snacking members.

    Good shit.

I don't really have snacks. I have scheduled meals.

If i did have a late night snack it certainly wouldn't be a fruit juice smoothie. Sugar before bed is begging your body to store fat.

My last meal is protein powder mixed in with cooked oatmeal.

Pineapple is amazing for the body. Orange juice too. Google it.

The tomato avocado deal is quite healthy, but you know this. Post was merely for people who want some sort of food and this option is by far a bad choice.

Not to mention I got home not long ago and skipped dinner because I was too busy doing important stuff.

It was a joke as a "late night snack", but I did make them earlier this evening (gluten free!)

Let's not forget all those pictures you posted of things you've been eating :whistle

holiday week with my mom is not the norm for me, you know this. pretty sure you were the one telling me it was good for me to eat like that anyway. all it did was make me feel like a big fat pig. :disagree:

Maybe for you it isn't. It works for me.

Besides; my snacks are usually avocados tomato carrot and lately it's been these soy smoothies. Sometimes I substitute with almond milk.

Do you use casein protein or whey isolate before bed with your oatmeal?
