wtf?? that is the exact opposite of my experience compared to quacker oats. less volume and faster to eat!

I agree. It seems like a tiny bit in one package (which is what I eat) and the same amount of carbs in the normal stuff was like hell to eat.

Definitely less in a pack prior to adding water, but I literally had to change the bowl I use because it soaks up so much water and creates such a large volume. I used to use a small cereal bowl but switched to a small mixing bowl. I'd say I have to use 2x the amount of water.

you have to use no more water then regular oats. i really am at a loss as to wtf you are talking about. the total volume after cooking is far less then regular quacker oats at the same dry measurement.

you you using the water lines on the back of the little pack??

measurement is different depending on which one you are eating.

Yes. I'm telling you. I take 2 packs of date and walnut oatmeal, fill with water until just above the oats and nuke it. This gives me a small bowl of semi sloppy oats.

If I use the lines on the packs of the betteroats it is too thick for me. Therefore I have to add even more water. Hence needing a larger bowl.

Yes they are lighter/ fluffier and smoother texture but they also absorb a lot more water thus creating a larger volume.

Do you typically use regular plain old oats? Maybe that is why there is such a drastic difference for you. The specific grocery store brand of flavored oatmeal is just as easy (relative term) for me to choke down.

Lastly, don't take this as bashing the brand and flavors. I think they are great. I'm just comparing to what I normally eat.

Well he mentioned the Muffin one, so I said that. The OatFit is 2/3 cup, also. And for the record, when I poured the 1/2 cup measurement into the packet, it was not the same! lol
