  • Protein shake?

How big is the difference between using water or milk in a protein shake? Alot of people say water..but I prefer milk..what is the best type of milk to use? I usually use 2% or fat free..

Add the calories in sugar to your daily intake and you are fine. Biggest issue with milk is that it has a fair bit of sugar.

Omg, when I was a kid they really did!!!! Holy shit that was a long time ago. We had a metal box on the front step and the milkman would take the empties and replace with fresh. I totally forgot about that!!

Ok, I haven't researched anything to back this up, but a physiologist friend of mine who is very well informed in this area told me that milk takes four hours to digest, and whey + water would take an average of 30 minutes.

I always use water...milk is NOT good when trying to be lean it causes bloat and a SPIKE in estrogen....

When not dieting real hard I use milk. I love the taste of milk and mixed with a solid brand whey isolate,,it tastes great.

I prefer water. Water has less carbs so its better to use water if you wish to lose body weight. You can also use whey protein and mixed with milk. It is a slow releasing protein so its best used before bed.
