    Cool, I appreciate the input and the time to write it. I will let her read this and we can talk about shifting some things around in her diet, primarily her Omega ratio, and some additional supplements...and an increasein aerobic activity I think.

    Any take on her condition having a direct effect on her inability to get a low carb diet up and running..we are talking ketogenic.

      Ketogenic diets have been clinically shown to increase TSH, inversely lowering free t3 t4 levels. Caution must also be taken as hypothyroidism typically results in elevated LDL levels as well.
