    Hey guys I am currently 2 weeks out my first competition! Started my diet at 12 weeks out and dropped from 227 to 202...still have to weeks to cut at least 6 pounds. My currently cycle is test test prop 150mg eod/ tren ace 80mg eod / winny 100 mg ed. My mais problem for now is water retention. I am having 5 meals a day + 2 shakes. I lowered my sodium intake a lot and I am having a gallon of water (at least) everyday. Any ideas on what could be making me still hold some water? thanks

    Running prop/tren/winny + gallon water per day and you are holding water?? Only obvious thing would be your sodium intake is too high. Even so seems out of the ordinary. You could try some dandelion root extract which is a natural diuretic. Have any pics you can post up?

      drop the shakes. diary shit makes you hold water.

        Up your sodium intake. Dropping it to low will make you retain water too. Also get some arimidex, it'll help you dry out and lastly I don't know if that is even a word but your diuretic pills should help you get rid of last of the water.
        And yes drop the shakes.

          Hey guys..thanks for the tips! Ive been going low in sodium and I notice after a cheat meal looks like I get dryer and more vascular..im gonna try to bump up sodium and see wgat happens! What is your daily sodium intake around guys?

            And beast what would be a safe dosage of diuretic before competition? Can you give me a brief explain? Like how long before...what is a good brand and dosage?

                  Take half a pill two days before the show see how you look then take another half or a whole pill day before the show and that's it.
                  It's serious for the person OD themselves thinking more they take drier they'll look.
                  Just be smart about it.

                    On a side note, how is your carb intake at the moment? Upping your carbs day before and the day of the show will also help you absorb more water.

                      Ive been pretty much cycling carbs. i will do around 50 - 75 gr carbs daily and i usually up on legs day to about 150 gr! thats what ive beeing doing for now. The half lasix dosage is equal to how many mg? do I still need the aldactone with that dosage? and how hard is to find lasix and aldactone! Thanks for the help beast!

                        It all depends on the pill you get but like the link says do not go pass 80mg.
                        Do you know your spill over carb grams? 150 is not enough to load up.

                        For example my limit is 425 grams of carbs that means I can take up to 425 grams of carbs and I'll still look hard and dry but if I hit 430 I look soft and bloated.

                        I say try get in at least 300 grams of carbs on the morning of the show before you step on the stage. That's only something like 3 extra large yams.

                          I'd try cutting out your shakes and lowering your sodium before taking Lasix. No need for it at a amateur show. IMO

                            Yeah The main reason for me to be going a little lower in carbs is because i need to still cut about 6 or 7 ponds in 3 weeks! Since I am dropping slowly with this amount of carbs I am scared to carb up to high and my weight starts going back up! but let me ask you this...when you carb up how long it takes for you to feel bloated and soft? same day or couple days doing 430?

                              Chad I agree with you in the lasix..from what I read I see it is really dangerous. I will cut the shakes but for some reason I believe I am going to low in sodium....so I from what i know if I go too low I can hold water too right? I am gonna try to go a little up in sodium and see how my body reacts...how long you think after upping the sodium dosage I should see difference? same day?? next day?
