I've got a Ninja Professional 1500 - sounds like the same one as FB. Between me, my son, and my fiancé, it gets used about 4-5x every day.

I've had it for 1.5 years, and it still works like it did the day I brought it home. It also has a big square pitcher bowl/attachment that can chop entire onions/peppers in 10 seconds - not purée but chop. Great for sauces or soups. Love this thing. It was $199 at Bed Bath & Beyond and used a 20% off coupon with it. One of my favorite purchases.
