  • Nutritional facts vs digestion rate

Just curious as to what you guys think regarding plain bag oats vs plain package oats? They are very similar in terms of nutritional facts but do they digest differently. The same goes for plain tuna in water vs flavored tuna. The package oats and flavored tuna taste so much better!

    Thanks

You don't need to eat plain shit. Make your food tasty bro. Spices or even salt has no effect on your fat loss.

I think you are shortchanging your progress by avoiding cardio. Get on a treadmill, set it to where it raises your heartrate to about 65% of max (usually a brisk walk on an inclined treadmill will do), watch a movie or read a magazine for a half hour. Cardio doesn't mean that you need to run 6 minute miles.

B, I noticed you eat the package oats and I believe the ones you have are loaded with sugar? Which kills me cause how do you get away with that insulin spike? I guess you can afford it cause you're already lean but for those of us trying to get as lean as you its my thought that we should not consume that amount of sugar.

Its about total calories in bro. Insulin spikes and rubbish like that is not something to be concerned with. Burn more cals then you take in an you will lean up. Simple as that.

I think it was back in 1991 when I decided to try a can of tuna for my diet so I bought a can opened it up took a fork full of chunk put it my mouth and immediately spat it out while gagging. That shit was nasty and I haven't had a single piece of food containing can tuna since then.

So my question is...WHY THE FUCK WOULD YOU EAT PLAIN CAN TUNA??!!!

Good question Beast! Honesty the flavored stuff I can pound down in seconds and keep working so it convenience. Even a chicken breast or eggs take longer.

B, thanks for educating me on the insulin spike. I have been mislead the whole time. If all it is is calories consumed vs calories needed and burned and sugar and all the other bullshit doesn't play a roll, wow! I'm gonna start eating differently and enjoy food again while getting lean. This will help me to stay reasonably lean year around.

B, what's you daily calorie consumption? Do you keep it consistent 7 days a week? Or 1, 2, or 3 cheat meals?

Right around the 3000 cal mark. 1 cheat day per week (usually only 2 big meals during that day).

30 minutes of cardio 6 days per week. Speed 3.5, incline 2.5 on treadmill.

Give me a sec and I will find the old thread that has my diet that I still follow.

                            Thanks B, very helpful!

Hey I noticed you get your protein from Costco. I can't find that same brand at my Costco in Canada. 6lbs for $50 bucks fuck I wish! What's your take on the whole "quality protein" thing. For years I've been paying out my ass for Iso 100, Iso flex,i-plx. Waste of money???

                            Beast,

I used a shit load of mrs dash spice tonight....shit is awesome!!
