It's a mixed bag.

Agree with him on foreign affairs, following the Constitution, getting rid of WOD, WOT, etc. Disagree with him vehemently on his science positions. I cannot vote for anyone who doesn't believe in anthropogenic climate change, is anti-vax, anti-stem cell research, anti-choice, etc.

It's a shame. He seems to be the only guy around who I would have faith in to actually abide by his oath to uphold the Constitution. Too bad he has such fruity science ideas.

Look here's another boogie man, concentrate on this while we quietly amend the constitution some more to take away your rights. And don't worry the FEMA camps and prisons are just in case. I have a sneaking suspicion that if

a. we completely disengaged from the Middle East
b. forced Israel to make peace with its neighbors including a Palestinian solution and,
c. we make foreign aid humanitarian only and stop supporting corrupt Arab regimes,

we will suddenly see terrorism disappear.

The whole notion that "they attack us because they hate us and our way of life" is complete bullshit that they politicians keep feeding everyone so that more interventiona and meddling in the Middle East can be justified.
