Thoughts? So many different/conflicting opinions. I need to switch it up from all the water I drink ED. I'm just afraid that if I drink 2L of it a day, it'll have a negative effect.
There used to be talk that it was bad for your teeth and could leech calcium from your bones, but I'm pretty sure they came up with no evidence of that.
I used to buy club soda or seltzer water because I try not to drink sugary soda but I was craving the feeling of the carbonation going down my throat and kept giving into drinking soda, so, my dad made me a carbonation system for Christmas 2 years ago that is far cheaper than a soda stream. I have probably consumed close to a gallon of carbonated water a day for the past year and a quarter and I feel fine. You just need a CO2 welding tank, a regulator, hose and adapter that fits on the threads of plastic bottles.
It is the best way I have found to keep me away from soda pop and instead of spending dollars on carbonated water from the store it costs me pennies per liter to do it this way.
Not much at all, the main cost is purchasing the tank itself. You can also find places that rent the tank to you, welding shops and similar venues. You can also buy smaller tanks, but do not go to paintball supply stores, they sometimes put oil in their CO2 tanks.
