You really sound like your working hard, congratsOriginally posted by dna9488 View PostTrying to follow your logic here Rado. I diet, work out, and put tons of effort in it.
I drink a gallon of water a day, and on top maybe if even a couple of glasses of the tea.
It's zero calorie zero sugar zero everything. What possible harm am I doing to myself?
I understand where you're coming from, and I appreciate your concern

I'm more worried about cancer then being fat.Originally posted by Bouncer View PostArtificial sweeteners have always been a staple for me to keep me from cheating on diet. I've been as low as 7% bf on gallons of that shit a day. I really don't buy into the whole "artificial sweeteners" make you fat bs.
If you are strict with your diet and you have the will power to be consistent, you will be shredded regardless of artificial sweeteners. Let's stop the hocus pocus.
But I do think it's funny that you talk about will power but have to use these drinks to keep from cheating. But whatever works for you....lol

It's more about making eating so strict a bit more enjoyable than it is to "keep from cheating". Wrong choice of words on my part. I wouldn't cheat regardless but it'd be a whole lot more miserable.Originally posted by FrankTheTank55 View PostI'm more worried about cancer then being fat.

No way. It might kill a craving at the time you drink it but 5 hours later when I'm craving sweets I'd have nothing to help. Diet drinks and sugar free gum have always been a huge part of making my diet more enjoyable and easy to stick to.Originally posted by TKD View PostI had to look up "corn syrup solids". Sounded sketchy. Sounds like a lot of chemicals. Do you think 100 calories of sugar instead in one drink would better control the cravings and otherwise be good with just water through out the day?

Because I've seen bouncers dedication and overall training, eating etc...it can be on point in a snap.Originally posted by FrankTheTank55 View PostRado, why is it that you don't say the same things to Bouncer as you do to DNA? They both are drinking the same stuff but DNA gets a negative response from you but Bouncer doesn't? Either you agree with drinking the stuff or you dont....lol (just an observation)
Dna has been sounding like he wants to be hardcore about getting into shape etc...and that's great, but with his history and being so inconsistent, that's why...no other reason.
I guess for me, if I seen where you been, what you can achieve, etc....and then fall into a rut or just take time off...well I know that person can do it again and if anything, doing it better the next time...I've yet to see dna get there so if anything, IMO he needs to buckle down.

Just realize rado that if you criticize every little thing someone does when they post, they will eventually stop posting. So on the one hand your making a food thread and asking everyone to contribute. On the other hand, everyone that does contribute you have some kind of negative remark. your basically saying to people.. "if you contribute you will be attacked". attacked is a strong word I get it, but you get the point. if you make something a negative experience for people they wont stick around long. cramming your thoughts and opinions down peoples throats as I have done for so long is not the way forward.
