  • Juicing

I watched a documentary today about this guy that did a 60 day fast only drinking water and juicing. He was pretty overweight and on a ton of prescriptions. He lost like 100lbs and came off all his meds. Its on Netflix, "Fat, sick and nearly dead"

But it made me think that doing a fast like that might be a good idea every now and then. Just to kinda clean your system out and reboot things. So I've been looking at juicers. Anybody out there into juicing or know of a good machine I should look at??

Well, its easier to make a jug of juice then carrying a cooler of fruit. But I think juicing made it so you absorb more nutrients.

You add anything green, it's pretty much the kiss of death as far as taste is concerned IMO. If you can stomach it, great. But for me, I prefer to cook my greens.

Yeah juicing is great. People say you don't get the fiber, but there are other sides who say there are healing properties in the water that come from the juice itself. Like the water out of a stalk of celery.

I make Celery, Cucumber, Lemon, carrot and Ginger juice regularly. Tastes great. I don't juice fruit because there is way too much sugar/fructose. If you are going to do it, keep the sugar down.

Also just fasting in general with only water for a few days is incredibly beneficial. Which I try to do as well at least 1-2 days per month. Read this:

False bro....I make ED kale, fruits, flax and protein powder and it taste fucking good....and yes I've done it without the powder and still taste good...have you actually had one and if so, what was in it? I use to think the same about greens in my shakes and boy was I wrong

                        Huh?

The sugars from the fruit is good. And if you train, which I assume you don't, then no need to worry about the sugars, especially if you have a clean eating regimen
