  • Liposomal Vitamin C

Anybody use this stuff? I've heard a ton of people saying how great this is. Apparently its like an 85% absorption rate where taking tablets are closer to 20%. And we all know that Vitamin C has tons of benefits especially when it comes to free radicals. So I picked up a couple bottles. Ive been taking 3tsp (3750mgs) a day. Think its been like 3 or 4 days so far.

There is no evidence that high doses of Vitamin C has any anti cancer benefits. Eat an orange or vitamin C rich veggies every day, eat a multi and save your money.

I still will take 1 gram a day a better immune system from vitamin c should protect against cancer. Also Vitamin b17 does.
One animal study showed that when a liver cancer-causing agent was introduced to the animals, IV glutathione administration caused regression of the tumors, resulting in the animals surviving

No matter how high the concentration, vitamin C does not harm healthy cells.

Lab studies reveal that this therapy is effective against many types of cancer, including lung, brain, colon, breast, pancreatic, and ovarian. Animal studies show that when human cancers are grafted into animals, high-dose IV vitamin C decreases tumor size by 41 to 53 percent “in diverse cancer types known for both their aggressive growth and limited treatment options.” Additionally, numerous patient case reports have been written up in medical journals.

Traps, there are some in vitro studies that show very marginal effects at mega doses but many of these experiments have poor design. There are no in vivo tests that show efficacy.

Vitamin C is water soluble, so you *probably* are OK ingesting large amounts, but unless you want the world's most expensive piss, I still feel that you are wasting your money.

Scrum there is minimal vitamin C in an Orange. A red bell pepper for example has three times the amount of vitamin C as an Orange. Do a bit more research on liposomal C. Granted curing cancer may be a stretch, but going liposomal is the only way to get high dose C without tearing up your stomach or giving you explosive diarrhea. It boosts immunity. Lots of studies out there on it and it looks promising.

There actually are studies showing high dose C killing cancer cells in a culture.
