    Yet oatmeal which is a carb has been linked with improving cholesterol in multiple studies.

    These studies always seem to have another study that contradicts it.

    I think they need to get into more detail. What kind of carbs? What kind of fats? Sure a diet of pure sugar is bad but so is a diet full of pure saturated fat.
