  • weight gainer causing diahrea

I'm fairly new to supplements, and I've been taking some GNC weight gainer to put on some pounds (I can't afford anything better). And ever since I've been getting diahrea really bad about every 7 days. Is this common with weight gainers? Am I getting too much liquid in my diet, or too much of a certain vitamin? Or am I just unlucky?

Possibly not enough liquid. I say up your water intake and try some ginger root with each shake to aid in digestion. It may not do squat for you but it helped me a ton.

Go to Vitamin World...Their stuff is better and cheaper...GNC is a rip off. Also, Pro lab's stuff is reasonable cost wise...

Creatine always does that to me. Is there much Creatine in your mix? Other places to get a good variety of supplements: massnutrition.com and nutritionexpress.com. I use them both. BB

There is creatine in the mix. But after 3 days of diarrhea, I'm starting to think it might be something else this time. Just in case, I'm holding off on the shakes for awhile.
