  • cybergenics program

I know quite a few people that have tried the cybergenics program and loved the results. However, they were also the type of people that like to jump at whatever sounds goods without looking at the possible sides or what not. i was just curious to see if anyone on this board has has ever tried this program. Any info is greatly appreciated.

Back in the late 1980's I did the Cybergenics program. I don't know if it has changed much since then. I am a natural Endomorph and have always found it much easier to bulk than cut. I was in the Corps at the time and so I was very active.

I found the program to be very thorough but strict. You have to have alot of discipline to maintain it and it helps to have a partner who is also doing the program (for spotting and for motivationall support) - my Wife did it with me.

I had good results from the program, nothing earth shattering but definately positive. I lost a good percentage of Body Fat, gained a little strength and felt great, but I did not gain any size to speak of.

I think this is a good program for a semi-beginner that is looking for an "all in one" directional program, it tells you what to eat, when to eat, what to drink, how to lift, provides you with almost all the supplements that you will need (except a good Multi-Vitamin) but most folks will get out of it what they put into it. You have to train hard and then push more.

Like I said, I don't know if it has changed much but if you or your friends are kind of floating and need some direction and are willing to stick with a strict and rigorous program then I think you will benefit from it.

Let us know if you decide to do it, I would be interested to hear if it has changed much.

      Is Cybergenics still around???
I thought it went out with Hubba Bubba and Alf.

From what I recall, it was mainly a training regimen along with glorified vitamins/minerals, etc.

thanks for the info. i personally hadn't heard of it myself until the other day. i did manage to find out that it was sort of popular back in the day. but like i said i was more or less just curious as to what it was all about. i doubt i'll give it a shot simply because i'm a fairly advanced weightlifter. i have my diet and routine in check just still tryin to find that supplement that can push me over the top. again thats for the help

          I've done it 5-6 times.

When stuff first came out IMHO it was spiked with best guess anavar, remember it was legal back then, I say this because my strength went through the roof which made staying on that program possible, after the first few times program did not work cause strength did not increase.

Note, it is a grueling training regimen, if you're on cycle IMHO it'd be great otherwise it's overtraining city .

The training is based on a few good sound principles, and one thing it definitely is is intense with a capital I.
