Here's a simple breakdown test for all supplement/vitamin tabs. This test does NOT work on caps, time release, specials, etc.
Pour one part vinegar and four parts water into a medium sized ziploc bag. Drop in the tablet to be tested. Seal the bag with a little air left in. Kneed the bag for ten minutes. If your tab has broken down completely, you've got a good tab/brand. If this test doesn't put a dent in your tab, throw them out and go buy another brand.
This test works by mimicing the human stomach. The vinegar is used to mimic the acidity of the stomach. The kneeding represents the action our stomachs are performing 24/7. A faster, better breakdown equals a better absorption into the stomach and lower intestine.
