Hey YJ I have really been amazed at the depth of your knowledge. It has been a while since I have been immersed in the industry as a whole. I have a BS in Exercise Phys (2000), but am about the equivelent to a n00b in the nutrition area. Not sure what that says about my educational institution :D.
reading through a lot of your posts, and I am trying to learn as much as possible.
I have always been a 'widebody' concerned with #1strengh and #2 size ( I was an umm...strength related athleate in college...OK a cheerleader). I kept my diet strict ... the SEE food diet...I just made sure I took in the propper ammount of protien and everything else just fell into place. In the 4 years that I cheered through education and hard work I took my body from 176/12% up to around 250/11%. During that time I had a few peaks and vally's in BF% never really getting under 7%. After College I worked as a Fitness Specialist/PT for a couple of years getting up to about 260/12%.
NOW (after about 2 years of being out of the gym) I have made it through the first hill and now all of that muscle tissue is filling back in the losened fascia! I do love "muscle memory"!!!
My main focus is getting into great shape (as opposed to trying to out lift myself!). This is more of an introduction I guess ...or a warning... but I will get all of my stats together and come correct with a question or two.
To be quite honest I have the same problem that a lot of "eggwhite Heads" have ---I have a wealth of Know What but I tend to lack the Know How in this area!
I look fw to the future!
Thanks,
Howie (somehow short for ZHowitzer!)
