  • Ephedrine

I have been using Vasopro in a stack for about 6 months with good results and no side effects.

A friend of mine (who is overweight) said he talked to his doctor and was told that Ephedra will damage heart ventricles even if there are no pre-existing medical conditions.

Another friend who also wants to get in shape previously lost 20 lbs. when Ephedra was being used in Advocare supplements and nothing else works for him now that it has been banned.

Is there any truth when used correctly and cycled that Ephedra can 'damage' the heart?

Ive used it for 10 years now off and on, I just had a stress test with the dye and my heart is A OK. This is said with heart disease running rampet in my family. It killed my grandparents and my dad has already had open heart at the age of 53. So in my opinion NO it does not hurt a healthy heart, however I do not know what it would do to a faulty one so to speak.

    PD

Awesome to hear. I have also heard that if doctors can't make any money from a supplement or drug they won't say anything positive about it.

That's not the truth...I know plenty of doctors who have used and still use ephedra products and still admit to its potential adverse effects on the heart...if you know how it works than you should know how obvious the potential damages of its use is on the heart
