    Hey .. maybe I should have just pm'd you but others might benifit.

    Can you point ome to a practical GI chart. I am starting to get the idea about when to time carbs and all of that mess...now I (as always) am stalling a bit on execution. The sticking point is about what to eat with chicken and steak later in the night.

    What vegies are good and all that mess.

    hmmm...one more thing (after reading bout eggs and heat) what are the best ways to do things: broil, boil, steam, raw, grill..microwave. I used to work in a restraunt and we would just stick a plastic bag in the microwave with a little butter and some lemmon pepper and call it "steamed veggies!!!"

    I know ... pretty basic questions...but I could spend the rest of the night reading 1 BILLION posts and crap like that or just go to a source that I trust. (just being honest...not trying to suck up :-D)

      Pete's link is very good...

      I always steamed my vegetables, pretty quick and you cant beat the taste.
