Opinions on GNC

I have about two GNC's within a 20 mile radius of myself, which makes it very easy to indulge in their gold card specials at the beginning of every month. I haven't had alot of time to compare and contrast many of the other web sites that sell nutritional supplements. The main reason for this question is that alot of GNC's products seem ridiculously over-priced and their Abercrombie and Fitch employees seem like complete fuck heads when you ask a question. Any opinions of stories of GNC would be appreciated!

Seems like you already know the answer to your question. GNC used to carry everyone's stuff and the prices were decent on discount days. The help has always been a joke. Now the GNC around here only carry their own brand and the prices always suck even on their sub-par shit. Shop around online or look for a Vitamin Shoppe local to you. They have great selection and prices that compare to online. At least the one here does. No matter what do your own research before you buy and never listen to the 98 lb pimple faced kid behind the counter. Chances are he was flipping burgers last week.

I used to be GNC all the way you can't argue with a place that has a 100% money back guarantee. I used to buy all sorts of stuff from there either use it up or put it in another container then take it back and say it tasted funny or didn't work and bam my money is back in my pocket

Even when GNC has a sale, their stuff is still higher than most places. I'm not sure why, but it may be partly because one of my roomates used to work there. If you were his friend, if you could carry it out the door, it was yours.:D

GNC is more of a health store, not a supplement store such as Max Muscle. Hence why most ppl that work their dont know much in the anabolic supplement area, as well as GNC just selling whoever offers the most money and asking for the most in return.

powernutrition.net all the way. i had a question on one of their products and was able to speak to a (VERY) knowledgeable person over the phone in one phone call. rather than 20 miles just wait two days and get it sent to you. i don't ordinarilly speak high praise of any supplement/nutrition organization, but i don't think anyone on this board has had a bad experience with 'em.

just order them online bro. GNC is way too expensive. I saw a 5lb Optimum Nutrition for 42 bucks, I can get 10 pounds of it for 42 bucks here on the net. Just look around bro, lots of good deals and sites or try the board sponsor.
