  • Best Weightgainer In your opinion

    I've never really used weight gainer while bulking. I always just stick to my basic low-cal protein, but this time I wanna make sure I get those extra calories and carbs from a real weightgainer/protein shake. Lemme know you guys opinions on these and what you like best - quality and taste.

    I can't comment a whole bunch on taste-I think my tastebuds have gone to sleep permanently. They're sick of chicken, tuna, oatmeal, brown rice, etc-you know the routine. Anyway as far as quality weightgainers, I would say MHP Up Your Mass is one of the best around in terms of having quality protein, complex carbs and healthy fat in one shake. The ProLab Lean Mass matrix is alright, too. Optimum's Serious Mass and MuscleTech's MassTech are similar, both low sugar but fair amount of carb options. These are all low sugar carb options. If you don't mind having the sugar and increasing the chance of less quality mass, you can try ProLab NLarge2-it's pretty decent tasting and mixes really easily.

      I don't use gainers any more.

      Used to use Victory 2000 (calories), best tasting shit ever but I lost weight. I do better with ON whey and just add stuff to it or eat some snacks with it

        I like to make my own, using stuff like regular protien, natty pb, oatmeal, dextrose, flax/fish oils and milk instead of water. If I was going to buy one it would be N-large 2. I had pretty good results with it.

              I have to agree. Plain old, good fashioned food is the best weight gainer out there...but there are times that a MRP is necessary. However, you can't beat the real thing.

                I try to stay away from these nowadays. I used to use a weight gainer before I had any kind of clue about nutrition. And sure, I put on weight fast, but it was the wrong kind of weight.....

                Like the guys here say, you can't beat good old fashioned food, but sometimes I can't be assed to chew anymore.
