    How often do you have to train to keep the muscle you have?

      I think he means how often to you have to work out in order not to lose the muscle you've already gained.

        Muscle hypertrophy takes time to build and achieve, meanwhile muscle atrophy doesnt take long. This question is a loaded question. It depends on many factors, hormone levels, supplements, cortisol levels, types of training, DIET, and activity level. For example, if youre under a lot of stress, running distance and have a cold, its not going to take long at all to lose a significant amount of muscle, however if youre taking in an qdequate amount of protein, arent endurance training and decide to take a week off from training to let your body fully recover, you probably wont lose a significant amount of muscle or strength, your diet is the determining factor and your caloric intake.

          took a week off after 6 weeks of var and 400 test week put on 13 pounds. lost 3 pounds the first week, I need to loose 5 t0 8 pounds more and want some advice on how to do it without giving up gains.
          should I expect to loose strenght when I train next?
