  • Syntrax's new Swol v.2 Creatine

First i was kind of suprized by the serving size its kind of smaller than im used to for creatine. But that little scoop goes along way.
The taste is like cool aide, yummy. 16oz of water and one small scoop and its like having desert. I just came off cycle and i was not looking forward to the strength loss so i figured i would give it a shot. After a week i noticed the tight feeling i get from creatine and i hadnt loss any strength, i was very very pleased. I also noticed i picked up about a half pound on exactly the same diet as i always have off cycle, i would attribute it to the muscle volumizing properties of creatine. All in all a great product , im glad someone finally made a creatine that doesnt taste chalky or sandy. Well worth the money, try it out.

Still not sure why they included GPA, which depletes creatine stores...........

As for potency...I feel it is a very good product. My only concern is with the taste. It has a strong Aspartame aftertaste and flavor that requires a lot of water to get down. Creatine for me has always been a convienience...and not being able to really use it pre or post workout is what bothers me.

I am a strong proponent for carbs and creatine pre and post workout! Unfortunately swole does not give me this option...I have to take it mid morning and mid afternoon... not really an inconvenience, but not what I like to do.

I think it would be really interesting if they manufactured the active ingredient blend in a carb fused version...with some dextrose and maltodextrin...or offered a barebones powder blend that you would make your own drinks with.

But this is just me and my opinion. The product worked well in general...just not well with my schedule,

Why not add dextrose to the Swole, and drink it pre and post? You dont have to split it up like they say.

Because the apartame taste is already very powerful...adding more sugar to the products would make it almost unbearable...unless I drank an ungodly amount of water with it.

I like sweet...but not too sweet. I guess it doesnt help that I am very sensitive to artificial sweetners.,, Splenda is the only one I can take in reasonably...all other must be masked.

This is partly why I was so impressed with the Nectar protien... No aspartame taste at all.
