Has anyone tried afy of the ephedra free products. I just want to know if they give you the same energy to want to go all out when working out or if you don't feel anything at all. I know you don't get the jittery feeling you get from an eca stack.

Well the whole point of ephedra based fat burners to begin with was to do just that, burn fat!! They were not intended to be used as energy sources to motivate people to train. That's what creatine is for. Ephedra is a "false" energy because it's a central nervous stimulant or a drug, if you will. The problem here with some people having heart attacks while training after taking ephedra is that ephedra restricts blood vessels and when you train, your heart rate increases to get oxygen through the blood and to the muscles being trained in order to create ATP for energy. So the heart has to really work over time to attempt to shove more blood through restricted blood vessels.Originally posted by bigpetefox
I'm using Thermo Dynamx by EAS, ephedra free product.. No kick, so I pop ephedrine tabs with it.. :)
Tight was good, just not the same stimulus as eph has..
They best thing to do is make sure your nutrition is in check and you are getting enough rest and drinking lots of water. This will optimize your natural energy, so you won't have to rely on a stimulant just to get enough energy to train.
Some of the newer fat burners contain compounds that produce some of the same effects that eca stacks do for the metabolism, however do not effect the central nervous system, therefore you may not even feel anything, but they are definately working.
Some of the newer compounds I like are CLA, citrus arantium or bitter orange, green tea, and guarana just to name a few.
