When taking a diuretic is it necessary to increase your potassium?

It depends on what type of diuretic you take.

Some are potassium sparing, and others are not.

Lasix is one of the most common one used and that one is K sparing.

Not to flame here, but if memory serves me right, Lasix is NOT potassium sparing. In fact, it's one of the most dangerous diuretics because of that fact.

It's fine.. I've used it before, and you don't have to worry about losing potassium.. If it is a concern, just get regular potassium tabs, pop 2 tabs after each serving of Shredded..
