    I notice that when I take Whey Protein (regardless of the brand) my stomach goes nuts for weeks. Does anyone have a solution?

    I use Soy Protein in recipes and it does not have the same effect but I have read that it is not as good at building muscle.

    Gastric irritation is common with surplus amounts of protein. One possible aid from the top of my head is ginger root, which aids in the absorbtion and digestion of proteins.

      Someone sold me on Papaya Enzyme a while back but I wasn't taking Whey at the time. What does anyone know of this particular chewable pill?

      Also, what's the consensus on Whey vs. Soy for muscle growth?

        Papaya enzyme also has been shown to increase and help with digestion. It contains alpha amylase, which is a considerable cofactor in digestion and absorbtion.

        As for whey vs. soy, not even comparable.
