      also

Ceasin (Choc Flavor) by Optimum Nutrition

both are great as far as flavor goes. the whey mixes great and as with all Ceasin proteins, it takes a little more to get it to blend.

I get both products from www.powernutrition.net
I'm amazed you're not doing the isopure anymore.

Ppl will prolly be pissed and i hate gnc, which is the closet place to me in the amount of time i needed it, gnc 100% whey protein vanilla, 6lbs $29. Taste good but high in cholesterol, I usually get optimum whey.

Man do I feel stupid. Speaking of protein I thought this might be a good thread to throw this story into. So I'm sitting over at my buddies tonight and it's around 9 oclock. I haven't had anything to eat since around 6 and am starving...my friends have left me there alone because they went to the 24 hour arbys to get market fresh sandwiches. Being the disciplined person I am I regretfully declined their invite and run to the grocery to buy some sugar free jello cups to eat so I don't totally rage on them and their arbys when they return. Well I dominate the jello cups but still feel a little hungry and then I spot it...a 2lb container of whey protein sitting in the corner of the room. I inspect it and it is some off brand vanilla flavored mix and it smells awful but I am thinking maybe it just smells crappy because it is such an off brand. I proceed to mix it with some water and taste it...okay it tastes just as bad as it smells but again, I blame it on the brand. So I chug the glass full of 2 scoops of this putrid stuff and then lay back to chill and feel good about the 40g of protein i had unexpectedly gotten to eat. Then the owner of the house walks in with his arbys in hand and looks at a little of the protein powder i had spilled on the table. well first his eyes widen up and i see him roll up a dollar bill but I am like "no man, that is some of your whey i made a shake while you were gone" he then proceeds to laugh at me histerically and while telling me that that bottle of whey is 5 years old and he bought it when he was a junior in high school. I mean what the fuck. i tell him how bad it is and ask him why he didn't throw it away and his reply was "because, dude, it looks cool there beside my cell-tech" lol which he hadn't used in 5 years either. so now it is about 4 hours later and i haven't gotten sick so i guess i am going to make it. I guess the moral of tonight is to never drink unidentified whey and NO off brand, no matter how off it is should ever taste as bad as what I had tonight.

Ha... good off the wall story.... Id say that protein was denatured. so Im not sure how much, if any, your body actually absorbed....

Otherwise, thanks for the replies guys, let's get some more....

I use the Pro-Rated from Costco too. They do seem to have trouble mixing some times. I usually have the chocolate in milk or water (definitely tastes better in milk) and the vanilla in blended shakes with fruit or berries. straight vanilla tastes like cake mix. way to sweet.
