  • Calcium Caseinate Consistency

Say that 10 times real fast :D (it's not as hard as I thought it would be).

I recently bought some Calcium Caseinate to occasionally replace my late night meals and I hate it.

It calls for one scoop to use 10-12 ounces of liquid and this brings about a pudding like substance. I have to use 20-24 ounces to get it smooth and it still tastes like chalk.

Does anyone else have this problem or is it just me being picky?

what brand is it? I know it is typically thicker than whey, but not pudding like! I usually use about 16oz of water for a heaping scoop of ON.

I don't want to incriminate a board sponsor, that's why I didn't name them the first time. What the hell though :D - All the Whey...Calcium Caseinate.

Maybe you should verify with them that you have the right scoop or serving size. It sounds odd that the suggested mixing would give you pudding, unless it tasted good. I'm always up for some protein pudding!

I better clarify--I'm referring to casein protein with jello pudding mix, you pervs. :P

I checked the website and it has the same serving recommendations as the container. I'll p.m. Laura (WheyStation) and see what she says.

I'll try to make it again tonight and let you know how the "pudding" turns out. If it's good maybe you can try some :D.
