  • need a sleep/wake up supp....

I have a really hard time wakeing up in the morning. I dont mean like, i need my coffe, type wake up but i mean like no matter how many hours of sleep i get when the alarm goes off at 6am i have to really fight to open my eyes and keep them open and roll out of bed.
Once im up im up, but it has always just been so hard for me to open my eyes and feel awake.....i usually open my eyes, try to get up, but end up blinking and before i know it, its been 20 minutes.
Doesnt matter if i go to bed at 9pm or even earlier, i just can not wake up at 6 and feel like i got enough sleep.

Is there a supp out there to help you feel rested and awake when you wake up?

Have you tried having a radio stay on and turn the lights on? Alot of times it's a mental block and if you get yourself feeling likt the day is starting so will your body.

I think you'd benefit from supps like rhodiola rosea, chocamine and taurine.

Could it be a matter of not sleeping well enough? Perhaps melatonin or a relaxant like valerian root could be a natural remedy. I wouldn't do it often but maybe even a sleeping aid would give you a good nights sleep when you really need it.

Ah Bas n' Frank....good times beefcake!

So what do those supps do?

Shibby yes i think it would help to turn the lights on and leave the radio on when the alarm goes off but my wife would kill me.

                Here are my thoughts.

Before using a supplement I would try to do it naturally.

Move your alarm clock out of arms reach. This is the easiest and will work 99% of the time. Dont set it for radio mode, set it for the annoying buzzer. Put it across the room, so the only way you can turn it off is to get your lazy ass out of bed and walk to turn it off. Turn on the light and dont get your lazy ass back into bed. You said that once you are up, you are up.

                Problem solved.

Tinfish.....youre right and that would probably work but I have my wife, and 2 kids who dont get up as early as i do and the wife gets all pissy when i make too much noise in the morning as it is so i have to do it on my own. The alarm clock goes off and she shuts it off almost instantly.....then she kicks me or shakes me to wake me up.....my eyes open, i look at the clock, and it says 6am.....i blink and all the sudden its 6:20. It sucks man. I can literally get 9 hours of uninterupted sleep and feel so sleepy and not awake when its time to get up.

Beefcake - yeah theres been rumors and trash talking for almost 3 years now, and it was suppossed to be this month but cali doesnt have a sanctioning body for the sport yet, so it cant happen until cali gets its stuff together which was suppossed to be this month. I went to a kickboxing show here in san jose couple months back and they were both there talking trash to eachother in the ring, and they both supposedly agreed on the contract, but now theyre waiting for california to ok it. Ken is fighting this weekend though on Pride....should be a good one.

Hopefully he won't slip and get owned like with franklin. Should be a good fight. I'm feeling sakuraba is gonna win though.

Melatonin is a sleep REGULATOR: it helps you get to deep sleep better and helps you come out of it when time's up. Really, it does.

I take GABA and ornithine and arginine together as a gh-inducing sleep stack. When I don't take my melatonin on top of those, I sleep 'til noon. Otherwise I'm fine, by 8:00 I'm up.

Oh, and use the sublingual lozenges, 3mg. Stomach destroys melatonin but it's absorbed plenty well under the tongue. Watch out: the first time you take it, it may well do nothing. THAT doesn't mean it isn'g going to work or that you need a bunch of lozenges. One is almost always enough.

I used to have thise problem. then I listened to Paul Mckenna Deep sleep relaxation shit. If you dont mind doing stuff like this it helps alot. I wake up right away. and for power naps he has another one but I havent had to listen to either for awhile.........but then I am not sleeping so well lately. anyway man good luck
