I took Dymatize BCAA in powder form, but it doesn't exactly dissolve in water, so it was a bit hard to take down. Is there a significant differnce in absorption rates between BCAAS in pill form vs powder form? I take them first thing in the AM, then PWO

I've done some research and I think you def. want the liquid. If you use the pills just take them an 1hour PWO. I guess you could buy a capper and cap the rest yourself. I havent used Dymatizes BCAAs. I have had no problems using this product YJ suggested a while back VENDETTA™ REVOLUTION or the VENDETTA™ ICE . They are a bit pricey especially the ICE. I did have trouble with the ICE product disolving in water. You could also by a Whey with BCAA's. It would be cheaper.Last edited by NYCmitch25; 01-02-06, 11:47 AM.

i tried it for a few months and did not feel that it was worthwhile. Also, if you are getting over 300 grams of protein from various sources, i think you will have all the necessary amino acicds you need...in my opinionOriginally posted by glowallawhat have you guys noticed from using bcaas? is it a worthwhile supp?

true, but BCAA supplementation gets you those particular amino acids faster...I imagine that's what their claim to fame is. At worst, I figure that (unlike Halodrol) it couldn't hurt, I'll give it a shot and see how it goesOriginally posted by daf2i tried it for a few months and did not feel that it was worthwhile. I will admit that if I supplement with BCAAs while running 500 mgs of test, I couldn't exactly say, "wow, those BCAAs really helped my muscular development"

to be honest no not really maybe energy and recovery especially on a cutting diet when calories are restricted (contest prep). if you can get the BCAAs cheap as part of a whey product or free with a purchase then it doesnt hurt to use them. i dont spend much money on BCAA's annually.Originally posted by ShibbyYea but you can tell if your recovery is better, the difference in energy, difference in strength, if your muscles are more or less full...
