Could somebody help me understand the benefits of few supplements over a given period of time keeping all variables(training, diet, etc.) the same? I know everyone reacts a little differently to certain things but, I am more interested in the average persons results.
I am currently dieting on a high protein/low carb diet. I am about 250 probably 20%bf(a good bit of muscle and a good bit of fat). I have been working out off and on for about 10 years. Basically, the only supplements I take are whey protein(blend, isolate, casein), bcaas before/after cardio, and a multivitamin. Basically, looking to maintain as much muscle as possible while loosing body fat. I feel like I have a good grasp on the training and diet end of things. Where I lack knowledge is in the supplement area. I feel like I am missing something here. Would adding some supps such as creatine and glutamine make any real difference? I am not really interested in any fat burners or that type of thing. Just looking for help maintaining/building muscle and workout recovery. Anything else you would recommend.
