  • supps for bulking

    Im getting ready to bulk for a decent amount of time about 18 weeks and was wondering what types of supps you guys use when on gear and bulking? Im pretty basic but any input would be great if will help me out in this phase.

    I take this but looking to add if it will help,Ive never been too heavy into the supps as I always thought they were not cost effective.

    Multi vit and min
    vit c
    vit e
    omega 3's
    protein powder whey and casein
    dextrose
    glutimine
    havent taken( creatine in many years never thought I got much from it)
    rala


    anythoughts would be great or just list what you all take and any reasons why if not the obvious.

      you should be taking majority of those supplements regardless.

      If you're taking a multi-vitamin there is no point of the extra Vitamin's C and E.

      Remember that Vitamins A,D,E,K are fat soluble vitamins and are usually stored in your body, the liver especially.

      Gluatmine is present in some protein powders, i find no use to it for recovery.

      You can take Creatine if you want, thats up to you.

      haven't heard of Rala.

      Pre-workout Nitric Oxide is good, I have used it and I enjoy the gains I got with out gaining extra un-necessary weight. Most times I have taken Nitric Oxide, i lost weight while gaining strenght

        so with what Im taking would u suggest adding anything to the list? Ive never had much faith in supps but I going to look into more options as Ive heard alot of pros

          Im not a fan of sups either. Your first three vits are not needed you will get all thoes in your shakes and food you eat. All the others are good to go and what I take also.
          nothing else works IMO better than gear and food. Although I do take pre workout NO for the energy it gives me. I get zero outta the creatine

            I don't believe in supplements. Shit is garbage. I took creatine and ended up losing weight, that was very odd.

            Like I said before, some type of Nitric Oxide pre-workout is good, that stuff actually works

              supps are for those that train beyond what whole foods can keep up with !!! most people dont train for shit so they are not needed !! just plain simple fact

              my supps consist of

              ala
              arginine
              acytl l carnitine
              beta -alaline
              l - citrulline
              creatine
              glutamine
              bcaas
              vitargo
              whey isolate
              whole food vit
              wellness formula
              vit c


              most of this stuff is in my pre and post workout shakes

                  you know the people who are in the gym doing moderate weight never to failure and then run to the tanning beds ? In and out of the gym in 20-30 minutes, barely sweating. I believe that's what he is referring to.
