HA Ha That is what popped into my head- rice powder and capsules; but who isn't to say the big companies do not do the same thing?

          Does it matter?

Yes, makes a big difference. Your protein's impurity levels will be sky high. in that so called "25g" will probably contain 10g or REAL protein, and then 15g of junk.

With more impurities in your substance, you devalue it.

              absolutely

you can have a product made up of mostly filler. the filler does nothing for you.

If there's such a thing as REAL protein, then what's FAKE protein?
This is an interesting question for me because I just found a website that sells protein powder for €50 for 4.4kg, which is really cheap. It's some sort of white discount brand.

i dont think you understand. its not about fake or real.

its about the quality of the product. whey protein isolates are almost pure protein. so for a little scoop of protein you might get 25-26 grams.

but whey protein concentrate has more filler in it. per scoop would be more like 20 grams of protein etc..

So if you read the description you know if you're good. I would consider that a better indication than the price then.
