  • Vit-E&Vit-C

I read an article about 4 years ago saying studies show that taking high doses of Vit-E and Vit-C directly after training stimulates the immune system and makes it up to 30% stronger. A better immune system means a healthier you and a healthier you means a stronger you. I started taking 400 IU of Vit-E and 1000mg of Vit-C after lifting with my shake and I can't remember the last time I was sick or even had a cold:weights:

I have never read anything like that, Vitamin C is water soluble so it will come out through excess. Vitamin E is fat soluble so you will store it.

I just take my mulit-vitamin get what i need form that, plus I eat green's and vege's all day. I don't get sick either, lol.

Vit-C is a powerful antioxidant that helps boost the immune system. It helps retain already healthy cholesterol levels and produces collagen critical for healthy cardiovascular function. Vit-E may help boost the immune system and helps maintain a healthy heart. Copied that right off the back of my vitamin bottles. I take extra Vit-C and E daily on advice from my doctor.
