Its only for the pump... mine should be here in a few days ill let you know how i go...
Not too sure what to believe about reverse N.O pathways to tell you the truth...
"How Yok3d works is… the pill reduces feelings of fatigue. In turn you can work out harder and for longer periods of time. Paralleling this is when you use Yok3d, you can reduce the recovery time after a workout. This allows you to be able to lift at the gym more frequently.
Yok3d uses reverse nitric oxide pathways which is the opposite of what almost every other nitrate products do. This is what creates the vasodilation, and extreme pumps you feel when taking Yok3d."

I have used it a couple times, it works well but you just about have to use it on an empty stomach, so I timed it 45 min before my pre-workout meal.
Jack3d with it is an interesting prospect and you must do this timed right, as much as jack3d helps it contains caffeine and geranium which are vaso-constrictive and work against the vaso-dilating nature of yok3d.
I would take the yok3d like I said about 30-45 min before pre workout meal, then sip the jack3d during the workout.
Seemed to be the one way I got to enjoy the benefits of both with out them interefering with each other.
MRI's No2RED is however the best product IMO for vasodilation...unfortunately GNC has a lock on the shit, and its hard to find anywhere else.
Great product, best pump I have ever had from an No2 product and I have taken alot of them over the years, working in the nutritional supplement biz has given me access to alot of these sups and the N02red was kick ass.

I would not pay a penny for any of this stuff. There is zero scientific evidence it works, not to mention the fact that nitric oxide is antilipolytic, which means it suppresses fat metabolism.
And simply ingesting enough protein/carbs pre WO gives me enough of a pump with the added benefit that it is actually anabolic.Last edited by Scrumhalf; 09-16-11, 05:44 PM.

I hope you don't misunderstand what I am saying or what I stand for. I am not anti-supplement. However, as a scientist, I am definitely against swallowing, both literally and figuratively, any supplement claim that isn't backed by even a modicum of rigor.
The total lack of regulation of the supplement industry is such that any huckster can plug any outrageous claim about any product and get away with it and the gullible public is the one that suffers, if not a direct health problem, at the very least a hit to their pocketbook. As long as you don't make a claim of treating a disease, you can pretty much claim anything you want and get away with it. It is really a national disgrace.

However...regulation will come at a VERY steep price your run of the mill 500mg Vitc thats less than $5 will now be $12, just for regulations sake, will the products quality controls change? Doubtful...just a ridiculous tarrif from the FDA on things like that...its a double edge sword, I see your side just as easily.Originally posted by Scrumhalf View PostYes I do take whey protein.

Tried it twice...
Day one 3 hours before - 3 caps - Back ... latisimus dorsi area was nice and plump before i hit it. After my second set of chins the pump was nuts. Really enjoyed it. It wasnt just a pump in that area either. Chest and forearms/arms got nice and veiny and filled with blood and felt rock hard.
Day two - 2 and a bit hours before - 4 caps - Chest. Had to take it easy cause of the painful click in my left shoulder (CAN ANYONE HELP WITH THIS?). Still a nice solid pump that was noticeably different. Lasted about an hour after the gym too.
Shoot away if you have any questions... id love to see how this goes on leg day cause i already get a sick pump standard.

Well, I have used the free sample up over the last week. I got 4 workouts from the sample 3 tabs each work out, I took it 1.5 hours before I hit the gym (empty stomach). I used it in conjunction with Jack3d. I take the jack 30 min prior to the gym (2 scoops ).
I was "wired" in the gym, crazy energy and def felt the "pump" more. I liked it for the work out, I definatly noticed a big difference then with just the Jack alone. Gonna have to see what the price of this stuff is and see if I wanna do it as a stack prior to hitting the gym. Overall I liked it.
Now based on that... in some of your opnions, what good does the "pump" do that is gives you as far as gains, or is it just that..a pump for the work out and gone. Or does it translate into harder work, therefore better results?
