Nope same. We were together almost 7 years before getting married. You pretty much know the person by then. I think it's a huge mistake to get married in first 2 years of knowing someone. There is a definite "dating phase" where you don't really know the person until after those initial years. If you can still deal with the person after 3 years you are good to go. :)

Its funny everyone had their own road to tread, when I met mine I just knew right off the bat, don't care what anyone says, we're both upfront andsay it like it is do there haven't been any suprises. I proposed after a short while and we married just over two years of getting together. I guess that kinda fits your protocol but I one right away. I just think its romantic to wait a bit.

I didnt mean to sound like i was saying that anyone that gets married early is bad or a mistake etc.. i know there are tons of people that get married quick and it works out just fine.
