Are you sure about that? According to Wikipedia the weight for pure dextrose is 1.54grams/cc and there's 14.7 cc's in a tbsp which according to that, there's 22.7 grams of dextrose in a tbsp.

I had to take another look but I'm sure earth! What am I missing? Is that conversion not right? A cc is the same as a ml and there's about 15no(rounded up) in a tbsp, no?

1 tbsp of dextrose is roughly 10 grams of carbs. Not 10 grams of weight.

but if it's pure dextrose, wouldn't 10grams in weight be 10grams of carbs?

                No.

Type "1 tbsp dextrose" into google and see what you come up with.

I went to calorieking.com and found a nutritional value chart of dextrose and your right, 1tbsp=10grams of carbs. The numbers I had above were in fact the density. I was just confused, thinking that since it was pure that 1g dextrose was 1g carbs. Thanks

Yea, the weight of the product has more then just the carb itself.
