  • Bodybuilding.com VS Amazon.com

Usually order my pre workout stuff from bodybuilding.com because they are so fast. Amazon had the NO-Explode for like $5 cheaper and they also offered free super shipper savings while bodybuilding.com shipping was like $5. So a total of just over $10 was saved by going with amazon.

Problem is, im still waiting for the shit to get here and I ordered it over a week ago. Ran out of my preworkout shit middle of last week. :(

Lesson learned, amazon is generally cheaper then bodybuilding.com but order well before you run out if you want to use super shipper savings.

Bouncers tip of the week. lolz

Do you have a Prime account? 2 day shipping or for $3.99 you can have it next day. I order almost everything through amazon!

Amazon Prime is the way to go if you frequently order things through mail. cheaper and faster than most.

Amazon Prime is the way to go, and it pays for itself because Amazon Prime Instant video is included and you can drop Netflix streaming if you have it.

I love prime but would not get it for the instant video feature. I haven't looked at the netflix movie library recently but instant video sucks for selection. Netflix has to be far superior when it comes to selection. That being said, I order so much from amazon that the free 2 day shipping is awesome. The instant video is an added bonus.

Good point, haven't done a careful comparison, but I am not a huge movie buff and Prime works for tv shows, documentaries, etc. that I typically watch. Regardless, I think the convenience of free 2-day shipping more than makes up for the membership cost.

Amazon Prime is extremely lacking when it comes to the streaming. They want you to pay for most anything new or decent. :fight:

I order SO much from Amazon, so I've always had Prime. If you have access to a student email, you can get it for half price - even better.

Scrum, you can also borrow a Kindle book per month, if you aren't already. The selection is ehh, but occasionally I see things I wouldn't mind reading. (My to-read list is too long to even worry with Prime right now  )

Vitamin Shoppe here has the same prices as Amazon, just swing by and pick it up.

Plus their points system usually pays back around $100 at the end of the year.

yea but then you also have to add tax correct? so if you buy $75 worth of crap how much is the tax on that? dont have to with amazon.

Pretty sure Amazon now charges sales tax in some states. It does in PA.

Even with sales tax I can almost always find things cheaper on Amazon. And they have outstanding customer service.

Amazon charges sales tax in some states, but not all....YET. I *think* they said next year they will start charging everyone. I'm sure they will lose a good bit of business then.

I go with bodybuilding because I usually buy my protein and preworkout in Bulk. Ill buy a 10lb bag of protein or 2 weight gainers and 60 servings of c4 or assault, and with that includes free stuff. I started ordering online since last year and already got a free gym bag, tshirt, iphone case, wristband, and smart shaker cup. Just an added bonus.

Got 60 servings of C4 Extreme pre workout for $37 at costco yesterday. Both bodybuilding.com and amazon have it for $47. Check it out if you have a costco membership.
