  • Testosterone Therapy - Low T

Yeah, I know...ask your doctor, lol.

I just wanted your opinions. What do you guys think about prostate cancer risks with TRT at 1cc every 5-7 days?

I think there are equal risks of having low test levels..

if you have someone that knows blood work you can see pretty easy if you are a candidate for prostate cancer, heat problems (plaq in arteries) kindy flow.

I never asked what to look at or my numbers but my HRT doc says i am money no worries on either of the 3.
I don't think test causes prostate cancer or anything else i think it can speed it up. BUT as Bouncer said low test high estro can cause even more problems. best to get blood work by someone who knows what they are doing.

One CC is a bit of a vague reference, as it depends on the amount of test per CC....some are 200 per cc, 250 per cc, hell some BM stuff is 400 per cc...so one CC can mean a huge difference depending on what your dosing, or prescribed.

As far as prostate cancer risks, there have been definitive studies on both sides of the house regarding it. As far as asking your doctor, its important to remember doctors are just people. Like plumbers there are good ones and bad ones, educated ones and ones that are best at general practice. If you consult a doc, make sure its one that knows the topic...and determine how he knows it..does he specialize in it or did he read it on WIKI?...It's honestly up to you to interpret the data you find and determine the risk/gain. Its a pretty subjective topic, and depends on so many peripheral factors in determining your risk for prostate cancer, just as the benefits of TRT are well documented. Risk vs gain IMO.

Thanks for the responses. To be clear, 1 cc is 200mg every 5-7 days. I get blood work done every three months to check test levels and other basic blood work for my cholesterol.

I'm just being paranoid. I value getting booty more than muscles, lol. Not that it matters being married...Married guys know we rarely get it anymore anyway!

Have you thought about taking 100 mg every 3.5 days
